spring risotto

I have to tell you about the risotto I made the other night.

I am very happy about three things. I attempted a dish that I have never made before and was always intimidated by, I used the asparagus from this week’s Fresh Picks box and……it turned out absolutely delicious.

It tasted like spring.

Frittatas are a cinch to make.

But, their real magic is this: you can throw in anything-you-have-in-your-fridge, and you should.  Well, not anything.  I mean vegetables, herbs, cheese…not leftover Chinese take-out.  Although, now that I think about it, left over Chinese take-out could possibly be quite tasty in a frittata.
